At Bethany Christian Church we  consider music an essential part of worship. 

The choir sings a varied, eclectic repertoire, from renaissance through contemporary, from fine, serious choral styles to arrangements of folk songs, spirituals, and gospel music. The choir is a balance of accompanied and a cappella music, and concentrates on beauty of sound, diction, and choral blend to the enhancement of the worship experience for all.  The choir sings most Sunday services from Labor Day through Memorial Day and Pentecost

 

Adult Choir meets weekly during the school year on Wednesday evening at 7:30pm in the choir room, through the east double doors outside Fellowship Hall.

 

Adult Bell Choir meets each Wednesday evening at 6:30pm in the sanctuary.

 

Kids Choir and Bell Choir are made up of Preschool and Upper Elementary classes and meet during special church seasons.

JOIN OUR CHOIR

All who wish to participate in the joy of joining voices in sacred song are welcome to become a member of our choir.  There is no need to audition but only a dedication to learn and grow.  Rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 p.m. in the choir room. We have many skilled singers in this volunteer organization.  All that is required to join is the desire to sing, a rudimentary music reading ability, and the time to rehearse on Wednesday evenings from 7:30-8:30 p.m.
